The comic scenes in the episodes do not fit the dark and series nature of the series.<br/><br/>2. The series started off strongly but lost intensity after a point.<br/><br/>3. If you're a fan of the Vampire Hunter D films and novels, Hellsing Ultimate is yet another of the great anime vampire epics!<br/><br/>Fans of the Manga have been waiting for a more proper animated treatment of their beloved Alucard and gang. She reluctantly becomes a creature of the night and is soon swept into the Maelstroman enemy of the world looms in the distance, hoping to settle an old score; especially Alucard.<br/><br/>The art style is awesome, capturing the same dark and gritty look of the manga, the fights that were intense and frantic in the manga become heart stopping sequences that will leave you on the edge of your seat. <br/><br/>With strange and powerful foes ranging from Homicidal brothers, insane fanatical priest to vampire Nazis; Alucard and Seras have their work cut for them.<br/><br/>The music is awesome and capture each moment well, with pumping technothe action builds and to haunting melodiesthe horror intensifies. The Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra lends their talent to each epic ending theme of the OVA's.<br/><br/>This is a series for everyone, if you love vampire, blood and gore and action, Hellsing does not disappoint!

The studios Satelight (OVA 1 through 4), Madhouse (OVA 5 through 7), and GraphinicaxKelmadick (OVA 8 through 10) elaborately worked closely together with Kohta Hirano. As a result, they created the OVA (Original Video Animation) of Hellsing which in terms of the story stays very true to the original material. Each OVA is an almost one-to-one transfer of an entire volume of the manga. The animation is top-notch, justthe music. Thus, the OVAs, which include all the epic battles, are a very worthy transformation from Hirano's blood-soaked comics to the TV screen. In Japan, 9 OVAs were already released on DVD, while the tenth OVA is supposed to be released somewhen in 2012.
